Michael Sturgill is a certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered mental health care across the lifespan. With a strong clinical foundation and a genuine passion for helping individuals achieve emotional wellness, Michael specializes in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related disorders, and ADHD.

Committed to creating a supportive and nonjudgmental environment, Michael believes in partnering with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that may include medication management, supportive therapy, and lifestyle interventions. He prioritizes open communication, education, and empowering patients to take an active role in their mental health journey. At Rise Above Mental and Behavioral Health, Michael currently provides telehealth services — increasing access to care and meeting patients where they are. In-person services are planned for the future.
